Jesus is tthe Good Shepherd and He knows HIs sheep. He delegates His function as shepherd to those appointed and anointed to care for His sheep

As Christians we are all part of the care of Jesus Christ who cares for His sheep; there are many flocks but only One Shepherd. To care is to love and to love is to know the ones you love and whom Jesus has given us to love
